The powerful Il Blu Rosso Toscana from Brancaia glides into the glass with a dense purple-red color. If you hold the glass at a slight angle, you can see a transition in the color towards garnet red at the edges of this barrel-aged wine. If you give it a little air in the glass by swirling it, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in clear stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Brancaia reveals aromas of blueberries, blackcurrants, mulberries and blackberries, complemented by gingerbread spice, cocoa bean and black tea. Vinification of the Il Blu Rosso Toscana from Brancaia

The powerful Il Blu Rosso Toscana from Italy is a cuvée made from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grape varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by 20 months of ageing in oak barriques.

This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to duck breast with sugar snaps, goose breast with ginger-red cabbage and marjoram or ossobuco.
