Merlot trocken - Käfer

Vinification of Käfer Merlot

The powerful Merlot from Italy is a varietal wine, vinified from the Merlot grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Merlot can further harmonize for several months on the fine lees.

Enjoy this red wine from Italy best at a temperature of 15–18°C as an accompaniment to cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables, pasta with grilled sausage dumplings, or leek soup.
