The Master Sauvignon Blanc Bio from Weingut Studier in the Palatinate presents a bright, pale yellow color in the swirled glass. When swirling the glass, this white wine reveals a perfect balance, as it does not appear watery, nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the sides of the glass. The nose of this white wine from the Palatinate enchants with nuances of honeydew melon. It is precisely its fruit-forward character that makes this wine so special.
This white from Weingut Studier is the right choice for all those who prefer as little residual sweetness in wine as possible. At the same time, it never comes across as meager or austere, but rather round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine presents itself as wonderfully silky. Thanks to its striking fruit acidity, the Master Sauvignon Blanc Bio appears delightfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the loess and clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of Weingut Studier Master Sauvignon Blanc Bio
The balanced Master Sauvignon Blanc Bio from Germany is a varietal wine, organically vinified from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and loess. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is matured for 12 months in 500 l oak barrels.
