More information about Mavros - Cenatiempo
The Mavros, crafted by Cenatiempo from Campania, presents a luminous, ruby-red color in the glass. This Cenatiempo red wine offers aromas of strawberries and raspberries, complemented by additional fruity nuances. On the palate, the Mavros from Cenatiempo unfolds pleasantly dry, full-bodied, and aromatic. The texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully silky. The finish impresses with remarkable length, once again revealing notes of strawberry and raspberry.
Vinification of Cenatiempo Mavros
This wine clearly emphasizes a single grape variety, Piedirosso. Only first-class grape harvests were used for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine by Cenatiempo. The grapes for this Italian red wine are hand-harvested exclusively when perfectly ripe. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the cellar, where they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the Mavros undergoes a 24-month maturation on the fine lees to further develop its harmony.
Food pairing recommendations for Cenatiempo Mavros
