This Italian wine enchants with its straightforward dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian charmer, despite all its dryness, delights with the finest balance. Flavor does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine presents itself as wonderfully velvety and fleshy. On the finish, this red wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region finally thrills with beautiful length. Once again, nuances of sour cherry appear. Vinification of Monleale 1.5 l Magnum from Vigneti Massa
The basis for the powerful Monleale 1.5 l Magnum from Piedmont is grapes of the Barbera variety. In Piedmont, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After hand harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Monleale 1.5 l Magnum is aged for another 28 months in oak barriques.
