Nerd Nero d'Avola - Ferro 13

The Nerd Nero d'Avola from Ferro 13 is an intense ruby red in the glass. The nose of this Italian wine has a wonderfully expressive aroma of juicy cherries and blueberries. There is also a subtle spiciness of cinnamon and aniseed. On the palate, the Nerd Nero d'Avola develops fruity aromas such as blueberries and cherry jam, which are combined with spicy components such as cinnamon and bay leaf. The Nerd is a smooth and velvety red wine with just the right amount of tannins on the finish and a lovely length and invigorating freshness.

Vinification of the Nerd from Ferro 13

Each parcel is harvested and vinified individually to preserve the terroir. The grapes are macerated before fermentation and then spend six months on the fine lees in stainless steel.
