The barrel-aged Vie Cave Toscana from the wine-growing region of Tuscany is a bright purple-red in the glass. When swirling the glass, you can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully elegant notes of mulberries, morello cherries, black cherries and blackberries in the glass. There are also hints of oriental spices, cocoa bean and vanilla.
On the palate, the Vie Cave Toscana from Fattoria Aldobrandesca starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. Vinification of the Vie Cave Toscana from Fattoria Aldobrandesca
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Malbec grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on volcanic rock soils in Tuscany. Of course, the Vie Cave Toscana is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors Toscana IGT. This Italian wine can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, presenting itself with extraordinary elegance. The ripeness of the grapes for this Malbec wine is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In Tuscany, the grapes thrive in a warm climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly well-ripened grapes and a rather high must weight. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Vie Cave Toscana is matured in French oak barriques for a further 24 months. The ageing in wooden barrels is followed by extensive ageing in the bottle, which makes this red wine even more complex.
