The barrel-aged Vie Cave Toscana from the wine-growing region of Tuscany is a bright purple-red in the glass. When swirling the glass, you can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully elegant notes of mulberries, morello cherries, black cherries and blackberries in the glass. The ageing in wooden barrels is followed by extensive ageing in the bottle, which makes this red wine even more complex.
