More information about Pinot Grigio - La Cadalora
The Pinot Grigio from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a luminous golden yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine displays wonderfully expressive aromas of ripe apple and pineapple, rounded off by further fruity nuances.
On the palate, the Pinot Grigio from La Cadalora starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine presents itself as delightfully silky and creamy. The finish of this white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, ultimately delights with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of La Cadalora Pinot Grigio
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Pinot Grigio. Only first-class harvested grapes were used for this exceptionally well-balanced varietal wine from La Cadalora. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
