More information about Primitivo Puglia IGT - Mandorla
The Primitivo from Mandorla is a fine-spicy, fruity, and soft red wine from the Italian wine-growing region of Apulia.
This wine presents itself in a powerful, radiant red color. Fruity aromas of red berries (raspberries), black cherries balanced with a fine spicy note of pepper and nuances of dried fruits fill the nose. On the palate, this Italian red wine is wonderfully round thanks to soft tannins. The juicy, powerful flavor reveals dark berries (blackberries and black currants) and leads into a long, pleasant finish.
Overall, the Primitivo from Mandorla is a harmonious and complex drop.
Vinification of the Mandorla Primitivo Puglia
After the careful harvest of the Primitivo grapes from the Mandorla estate, the harvested fruit is first destemmed, crushed, and the resulting mash is fermented under temperature control in stainless steel tanks. The mash is then pressed, and this wine is aged partly in steel tanks and partly in large wooden barrels, where this red wine rounds out and is eventually bottled. Subsequently, the Mandorla Primitivo comes to us in Germany.
Food Recommendation for the Primitivo Mandorla
