More information about Roero Arneis Progetto Hope - Fabrizio Pinsoglio
The elegant Roero Arneis Progetto Hope from the hand of Fabrizio Pinsoglio flows into the glass in a bright platinum yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine shows wonderfully expressive aromas of acacia, rounded off by mineral notes contributed by barrel aging.
This Italian wine impresses with its straightforward, dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and thus, despite all its dryness, this Italian wine delights with the finest balance. Aroma simply does not necessarily need sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine presents itself as wonderfully crisp and fleshy. On the finish, this wine from the Piedmont winegrowing region finally captivates with beautiful length. Once again, hints of acacia appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the sand-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Roero Arneis Progetto Hope by Fabrizio Pinsoglio
This white wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Arneis. For this exceptionally well-balanced varietal wine from Fabrizio Pinsoglio, only the best grapes were used. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. Here the vines sink their roots deep into sandy soils. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery without delay. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and large wooden casks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by 6 months of maturation in 900 l oak tonneau.
