The RosesRoses Rosato Alto Mincio IGT from Ottella shines light pink to delicate onion skin colors in the glass. On the nose, aromas of white peach and mineral notes. On the palate, this rosato from Veneto shows finesse and character, pleasant freshness thanks to good acidity, balanced, full-bodied and persistent in taste and finish.
Vinification of the RosesRoses Rosato Alto Mincio IGT from Ottella
Three traditional regional red grape varieties from the vineyards of the Ottella winery are vinified together for this rosato: Corvina Veronese, Lagrein, Rondinella. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. Gentle destemming is followed by whole-cluster maceration for around 10 to 12 hours at a controlled temperature. Natural draining of the must gives the wine its double skin color. After fermentation, which lasts 14 to 18 days, the lees are removed to prevent malolactic fermentation from taking place.
