More information about Sauvignon Blanc Kabinett - Oliver Zeter

The light-footed Sauvignon Blanc Kabinett from Oliver Zeter shines into the glass with a brilliant light yellow. The bouquet of this white wine from the Palatinate region delights with notes of quince, apple, pear and lime. If we trace the aromatics further, forest floor and sun-warmed rock come in, encouraged by the oak influence.

The Oliver Zeter Sauvignon Blanc Kabinett presents us with an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is of course also due to its residual sweet profile. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Sauvignon Blanc Kabinett shows itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate, more precisely from Haardt, finally thrills with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by sandstone and clay.

Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Kabinett by Oliver Zeter

The basis for the elegant Sauvignon Blanc Kabinett from the Palatinate is grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, sandstone and marl. After the grapes are harvested, they are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in French barrels.
