This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Primitivo. Only first-class harvested grapes were used for this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Ulisse. In Abruzzo, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone and clay soils. After hand-picking, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
