More information about Cocciapazza Montepulciano D'Abruzzo - Torre Dei Beati
With the Torre Dei Beati Cocciapazza Montepulciano D'Abruzzo, a first-class organic red wine flows into the swirled glass. It presents a wonderfully dense, ruby-red color. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red reveals wonderfully complex aromas of raspberry, rounded off by further fruity nuances contributed by its maturation in wooden casks.
The Torre Dei Beati Cocciapazza Montepulciano D'Abruzzo delights with its straightforward, dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian still enchants, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Great flavor does not necessarily require much residual sugar. Powerful and complex, this dense, creamy and fleshy red wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region, more precisely from Abruzzo DOC, ultimately impresses with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Torre Dei Beati Cocciapazza Montepulciano D'Abruzzo
The powerful Cocciapazza Montepulciano D'Abruzzo from Italy is a varietal wine, organically vinified from the Montepulciano grape variety. In Abruzzo, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils. After manual harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 20 months of aging in oak barriques.
