More information about Valpolicella Classico 0,375 l - Villa Spinosa
The elegant Valpolicella Classico from Villa Spinosa enters the glass with a bright ruby red color. This Italian cuvée reveals wonderfully complex notes of sour cherries in the glass. There are also hints of black cherry.
This Italian wine impresses with its straightforward dry flavor profile. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian naturally delights, despite all its dryness, with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an immensely velvety, fleshy and dense texture. On the finish, this red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally thrills with lovely length. Once again, hints of sour cherry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Valpolicella Classico from Villa Spinosa
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone and Cuvée. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines drive their roots deep into limestone soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. Here they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Valpolicella Classico can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 3 months.
