More information about Vignalet Pinot Nero - La Cadalora
With the La Cadalora Vignalet Pinot Nero, a first-class red wine finds its way into the well-polished wine glass. There it reveals a wonderfully bright, light red color. The bouquet of this red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige beguiles with hints of plum, blackberry, currant, and sour cherry. Following the aromatics further, notes of vanilla, black cherry, and chocolate appear.
The La Cadalora Vignalet Pinot Nero tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with an exceptionally low residual sugar content. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian, despite its dryness, delights with the finest balance. Excellent flavor does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and fleshy texture. The finish of this red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region, more precisely from Trentino DOC, ultimately impresses with a lovely aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of the La Cadalora Vignalet Pinot Nero
The balanced Vignalet Pinot Nero from Italy is a varietal wine, vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into clay soils. After hand harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house as quickly as possible. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in barriques made of oak.
