Amico Filò Frizzante - Paladin

The Amico Filò Vino Bianco Frizzante from Paladin is a fresh sparkling wine made from the Chardonnay (90%) and Glera (10%) grape varieties.

In the glass, the Amico Filò shimmers in a delicate yellow with greenish highlights. The Frizzante is fruity, light and harmonious on the nose with appealing, lively and invigorating notes of juicy apples and freshly squeezed citrus fruits. On the palate, this Italian sparkling wine provides an animating, tangy and extremely refreshing sensation. A wonderfully uncomplicated frizzante with class and wonderful personality.

Vinification of the Amico Filò

After the grapes have been carefully harvested, they are destemmed, gently crushed and the resulting mash is pressed after a short standing time. The must is first fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. This is followed by a second fermentation in pressure tanks using the Charmat method (tank fermentation), which gives the wine its perlage. In this method, the wine and the filling dosage are placed in a large-capacity tank and fermented. Once fermentation is complete, the sparkling wine is pumped into a counter-pressure tank, the yeast is removed via a filter and finally the shipping dosage is added. Under counterpressure, the sparkling wine is finally bottled and served.

This frizzante from Veneto is an excellent aperitif, but is also a suitable and uncomplicated accompaniment to Mediterranean-inspired dishes at any time of year.
