More information about Argeo Rosé Prosecco DOC - Ruggeri

The light-footed Argeo Rosé Prosecco from Ruggeri glides into the glass with brilliant platinum yellow. This pure-varietal Italian wine caresses the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of mirabelles, gooseberries, vineyard peach and apricots. There are also hints of additional fruits.

This dry white wine from Ruggeri is just right for wine lovers who simply can’t get their wine dry enough. Argeo Rosé Prosecco comes very close to that, as it was vinified with just 9 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, this light-footed Prosecco Spumante is characterized by an extremely delicate texture. Thanks to its lively acidity, Argeo Rosé Prosecco appears wonderfully fresh and vibrant on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Veneto winegrowing region, more precisely from Prosecco DOC, ultimately impresses with a good length. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral notes from the limestone- and clay-dominated soils.

Vinification of Argeo Rosé Prosecco by Ruggeri

The basis for the elegant Argeo Rosé Prosecco from Veneto is grapes from the Glera variety. In Veneto, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone, clay and marl soils. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for Ruggeri Argeo Rosé Prosecco

Enjoy this Prosecco Spumante from Italy ideally well chilled at 5 - 7°C as an accompaniment to potato skillet with salmon, spinach gratin with almonds or coconut-lime fish curry.
