Vinification of Weingut Hammel Aus dem Herzen Pinot Noir
This balanced red wine from Germany is vinified from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. Here the vines drive their roots deep into soils of limestone and clay. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
