The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Tuscany. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand, limestone, clay and marl. The berries for this rosé wine from Italy are picked exclusively by hand when they are perfectly ripe. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. Ageing in wooden barrels is followed by considerable bottle ageing, which makes this rosé wine even more complex.
