More information about Bonazolae Colline Di Levanto - Cà du Ferrà

In the glass, Bonazolae Colline Di Levanto from the house of Cà du Ferrà offers a bright light-yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine presents wonderfully expressive aromas of acacia and jasmine, rounded off by broom.

Cà du Ferrà Bonazolae Colline Di Levanto presents itself to the connoisseur pleasantly dry. This white wine never appears coarse or austere, but rather round and supple. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp. The finish of this white wine from the Ligurian wine region ultimately impresses with a lovely aftertaste. The aftertaste is also accompanied by mineral nuances from the clay- and volcanic-rock-dominated soils.

Vinification of Bonazolae Colline Di Levanto by Cà du Ferrà

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Bonazolae Colline Di Levanto cuvée from Cà du Ferrà is Albarola, Bosco and Vermentino grapes. In Liguria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and volcanic soils. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.

Food pairing recommendation for Cà du Ferrà Bonazolae Colline Di Levanto

This Italian white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine with cod served with cucumber-mustard vegetables, leek tortilla, or fried trout with ginger-pear.
