Once again, hints of peach and green apple appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the volcanic rock and clay-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Cà du Ferrà Luccicante Vermentino Colline Di Levanto
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Vermentino. Only immaculate grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Cà du Ferrà. In Liguria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and volcanic rock. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house immediately. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After it ends, the Luccicante Vermentino Colline Di Levanto can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
