More information about Bramaterra - Tenute Sella 1671

With the Tenute Sella 1671 Bramaterra, a first-class red wine is poured into the wine glass. It displays a wonderfully luminous, ruby-red color. This Italian cuvée flatteringly presents noble notes of plum, sour cherry, blueberry, and blackcurrant in the glass. Additions of other fruit notes are also present.

On the palate, the Bramaterra from Tenute Sella 1671 begins pleasantly dry, full-bodied, and aromatic. This balanced red wine is characterized by an extraordinarily silky texture on the tongue. Ultimately, this wine from the Piedmont wine region impresses with its notable length. It again reveals hints of raspberry and strawberry. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the flinty soils are added.

Vinification of the Tenute Sella 1671 Bramaterra

The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Bramaterra cuvée from Tenute Sella 1671 consists of Vespolina, Croatina, and Nebbiolo grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. The vines root deeply into flinty soils here. The grapes for this Italian red wine are harvested exclusively by hand once perfectly ripe. After harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the elegant Bramaterra is further matured for 28 months in barrels made from Slavoonian oak.

Food pairing recommendations for the Tenute Sella 1671 Bramaterra

This Italian should be enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It pairs perfectly as an accompanying wine with vegetable couscous with beef patties, pan-fried veal liver with apples, onions, and balsamic sauce, or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.
