More information about Orbello Coste Della Sesia DOC - Tenute Sella

The organically produced Orbello Coste Della Sesia from Tenute Sella flows into the glass with a luminous ruby red. The bouquet of this red wine from Piedmont impresses with nuances of strawberry and raspberry. It is precisely its fruity character that makes this wine so special.

The Tenute Sella Orbello Coste Della Sesia presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine connoisseur. This red wine never appears粗 rough or austere, as one might expect from a wine. On the palate, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky texture. The finish of this wine from the Piedmont wine region finally delights with an impressive length. Once again, hints of raspberry and strawberry are evident. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the flinty soils add to its complexity.

Vinification of the Tenute Sella Orbello Coste Della Sesia

The balanced Orbello Coste Della Sesia from Italy is a cuvée vinified organically from the grape varieties Vespolina, Cabernet Franc, and Nebbiolo. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. The vines here have deep roots in flinty soils. When at optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Orbello Coste Della Sesia are harvested exclusively by hand, avoiding coarse and less selective machines. After manual harvest, the grapes are immediately transferred to the winery. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by a 12-month aging in oak barrels.

Food pairing recommendation for the Orbello Coste Della Sesia from Tenute Sella

For the best experience, serve this organic red wine from Italy at 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to duck breast with sugar snap peas, boeuf bourguignon, or goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram.
