A colour transition to garnet red is also evident. If you give it a little air by swirling, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which can be seen in strong stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The first nose of the Brunello di Montalcino 1.5 l Magnum reveals lemongrass, oranges and mulberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing such as cinnamon, gingerbread spice and dark chocolate.
This Italian wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine from the Icon wine segment, this Italian wine naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. The finish of this very mature red wine from the wine-growing region of Tuscany, more precisely from Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by 24 months of ageing in oak barrels.
