At the edges, there is also a transition in color to garnet red. If you give it some air by swirling it in the glass, this red wine reveals high viscosity, which is evident in pronounced church windows on the glass. This wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of blackberry, plum, blueberry and sour cherry in the glass. Added to this are hints of coffee/mocha and vanilla.

Vinification of Il Valentiano Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

This powerful red wine from Italy is vinified from the Sangiovese grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels.
