Ca‘ Nova DOC - Azienda Agricola Gorgo

The barrel-aged Ca' Nova from the Veneto wine-growing region is a bright purple red in the glass. The nose of this red wine from Veneto seduces with hints of damson plum, morello cherry, black cherry and plum. Vinification of the Ca' Nova from Azienda Agricola Gorgo

This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Corvina and Merlot grape varieties. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for Ca' Nova are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by ageing for several months in oak barriques.

This Italian red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is the perfect accompaniment to boiled veal with beans and tomatoes, pumpkin casserole or pasta with sausage dumplings
