Tempus - Stefano Accordini

The Tempus by Stefano Accordini from Veneto offers a bright, purple-red color in the glass. This Stefano Accordini red wine reveals all kinds of plums, morello cherries, black cherries and prunes on the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in large wooden barrels adds further aromas such as oriental spices, black tea and dark chocolate.

Vinification of the Stefano Accordini Tempus

The balanced Tempus from Italy is a cuvée made from the Corvina and Merlot grape varieties. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand after optimal ripeness has been ensured. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Tempus is aged for a further 6 months in French oak barrels.

This red wine from Italy should ideally be served at a temperature of 15 - 18°C with cabbage roulades, cod with cucumber and mustard vegetables or vegetable stew with pesto.
