Vinification of the Duca di Salaparuta Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane
The basis for the elegant Corvo Rosso Terre Siciliane from Sicily are grapes from the Nerello Mascalese and Nero d'Avola varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sicily. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by a maturation of 12 months in oak barrels.

This Italian is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It goes perfectly as an accompanying wine to Boeuf Bourguignon, leek soup or leek tortilla.
