Vinification of the Coste di Rose Barolo by G.D. Vajra
This powerful red wine from Italy is vinified from the Nebbiolo grape variety. The Coste di Rose Barolo is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of wines from the Old World. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. There they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the powerful Coste di Rose Barolo is aged for another 36 months in French oak barrels.
