This wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of strawberries, sour cherries, and raspberries in the glass. Added to this are hints of red currant, pepper, and nutmeg.
This wine convinces with its straightforward dry flavor profile. It was bottled with only 2 grams of residual sugar. Here we have a true quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities, and this Italian enchants with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the palate, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp and creamy texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Erste+Neue Pinot Nero shows itself extraordinarily fresh and lively on the palate. Vinification of the Erste+Neue Pinot Nero from Erste+Neue
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Pinot Noir. For this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Erste+Neue, only first-class grapes were used. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately brought to the winery. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. After vinification, the wine undergoes aging on the fine lees for several months before it is finally bottled.
