The Falanghina Terre di Chieti from the Abruzzo wine-growing region presents itself in the glass with a brilliantly shimmering light yellow. The first nose of the Falanghina Terre di Chieti offers nuances of apricots. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by mint/melissa, walnut and hay.

The Mezzogiorno Falanghina Terre di Chieti presents itself to the wine enthusiast as wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, but rather round and supple. On the palate, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky texture. Thanks to its lively acidity, the Falanghina Terre di Chieti reveals itself on the palate as exceptionally fresh and vibrant. On the finish, this youthful white wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region finally delights with a lovely length. Hints of apricot appear once again.

Vinification of the Falanghina Terre di Chieti by Mezzogiorno

This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Falanghina. For this wonderfully elegant varietal wine from Mezzogiorno, only the best grapes were harvested. After being picked by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for Mezzogiorno Falanghina Terre di Chieti

This Italian is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It is the perfect companion to Thai cucumber salad, red onions stuffed with couscous and apricots, or spicy lamb curry.
