Vinification of the Kaltern Winery Lasón Merlot Riserva Alto Adige

This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Merlot grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for 12 months in oak barriques.
