Vinification of Lis Riserva Venezia Giulia by Lis Neris
This powerful white wine from Italy is made from the Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the powerful Lis Riserva Venezia Giulia is aged for 12 months in 500-liter oak barrels.
