The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the sand-dominated soils.
Vinification of Cantine Settesoli Mandrarossa Timperosse
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, which is Petit Verdot. Only top-quality harvest grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Cantine Settesoli. In Sicily, the vines producing the grapes for this wine grow on sandy soils. After hand harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here, they are selected and gently crushed. Subsequently, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Mandrarossa Timperosse continues to harmonize on fine lees for 7 months. After maturation in oak barrels, the wine undergoes extensive bottle aging, making this red wine even more complex.
