The well-balanced Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Italy is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Montepulciano grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house without delay. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
