The Moscato Secco In Ascesa from Estasi Franco Di Filippo from Apulia reveals a bright, golden-yellow color in the swirled glass. The first nose of Moscato Secco In Ascesa caresses with notes of roses, apricots, and oranges. More fruity-balsamic nuances join the fruity components of the bouquet.
The Estasi Franco Di Filippo Moscato Secco In Ascesa presents itself to the connoisseur as delightfully dry. This white wine never comes across as coarse or austere, but rather round and smooth. Balanced and multi-layered, this fleshy and crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Apulia wine-growing region delights with a beautiful length. Once again, hints of apricot and rose appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone- and volcanic-rock-dominated soils are added.
Vinification of Estasi Franco Di Filippo Moscato Secco In Ascesa
This wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Muscat. Only immaculate grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Estasi Franco Di Filippo. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Apulia. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into soils of limestone and volcanic rock. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery immediately. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine matures for several months on the fine lees before it is finally drawn off.
