With a slight tilt, the red wine glass reveals a charming shimmer at the edges. When you swirl the wine glass, you can perceive perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not appear watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. Poured into a Bordeaux glass, this red wine from Italy displays wonderfully expressive aromas of blueberry, mulberry, morello cherry and plum, rounded off by dark chocolate, black tea and oak, contributed by the barrel aging.
The Papale Primitivo di Manduria 1.5l Magnum from Varvaglione is a good choice for all wine lovers who prefer as little residual sugar in their wine as possible. The finish of this well age-worthy red wine from the Apulia wine-growing region, more precisely from the Primitivo di Manduria DOC, finally impresses with remarkable length.
