More information about Possessioni Rosso - Serego Alighieri
The barrel-aged Possessioni Rosso del Veronese from the Veneto wine-growing region presents itself in a bright ruby red in the glass. This Serego Alighieri red wine reveals all kinds of blackcurrants, plums, damsons, black cherries and morello cherries on the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in large wooden barrels adds further aromas such as dark chocolate, cocoa bean and cinnamon.
The Serego Alighieri Possessioni Rosso del Veronese impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with just 1.8 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine at the upper end of the price range, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. This dense red wine is balanced and complex on the palate. The Possessioni Rosso del Veronese is impressively fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its present fruit acidity. The finish of this red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region impresses with a remarkable aftertaste.
Vinification of Possessioni Rosso del Veronese from Serego Alighieri
