Vinification of Kellerei Kaltern Quintessenz Passito Goldmuskateller Alto Adige

The basis for the elegant Quintessenz Passito Goldmuskateller Alto Adige from Trentino-Alto Adige are grapes from the Goldmuskateller grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Quintessenz Passito Goldmuskateller Alto Adige is matured for a further 24 months in 900-liter oak tonneaux.
