More information about Rossj-Bass Langhe DOC - Gaja

The Rossj-Bass Langhe from the Piedmont wine-growing region reveals itself in the glass in a bright light yellow. If you swirl the wine glass, you can perceive a first-class balance in this white wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This Italian cuvée displays wonderfully elegant notes of pink grapefruit, grapefruit, orange and quince in the glass. There are also hints of garrigue, lovage and Mediterranean herbs.

The Gaja Rossj-Bass Langhe is pleasantly dry for wine drinkers. This white wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine from the Icon wine segment. This silky and crisp white wine is balanced and multi-faceted on the palate. On the finish, this storable white wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region finally impresses with good length. Once again, there are hints of kumquat and lemongrass. On the finish, mineral notes from the clay and limestone-dominated soils are added.

Vinification of the Gaja Rossj-Bass Langhe

The balanced Rossj-Bass Langhe from Italy is a cuvée made from the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and sandstone. Naturally, the Rossj-Bass Langhe is also determined by the climate and the Langhe DOC winegrowing style. This Italian wine can be described as an old world wine in the best sense of the word, presenting itself with exceptional elegance. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation.

Dining recommendations for Gaja Rossj-Bass Langhe
