Vinification of the Saleit Chardonnay Alto Adige from Kellerei Kaltern

The basis for the balanced Saleit Chardonnay Alto Adige from Trentino-Alto Adige are grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by ageing for several months in 900-litre tonneau and large oak barrels.
