More information about Siir Aglianico Del Vulture - San Martino

With the San Martino Siir Aglianico Del Vulture, a first-class red wine flows into the swirled glass. There it offers a wonderfully bright, purple-red color. The first nose of the Siir Aglianico Del Vulture shows nuances of acacia and raspberries. Notes from barrel aging such as pepper, black cherry and minerals join the fruity aspects of the bouquet.

On the palate, San Martino’s Siir Aglianico Del Vulture opens pleasantly dry, firm and aromatic. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced red wine presents itself as wonderfully crisp, silky, fleshy and dense. In the finish, this wine from the Basilicata wine-growing region delights with a lovely length. Hints of raspberry and acacia appear again.

Vinification of the Siir Aglianico Del Vulture from San Martino

The balanced Siir Aglianico Del Vulture from Italy is a varietal wine, vinified from the Aglianico grape. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
