Vinification of the Taibo Sangiovese Di Romagna Superiore from Tenuta Santa Lucia

This red wine clearly focuses on a single grape variety, namely Sangiovese. For this exceptionally powerful varietal wine from Tenuta Santa Lucia, only immaculate grape material was used. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Emilia-Romagna. Here, the vines sink their roots deep into clay soils. After the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery immediately. There they are selected and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels.
