The Soraie Rosso Veneto IGT from Cecilia Beretta is a deep ruby red in the glass and reveals wonderful fruit aromas of plums and redcurrants. The bouquet is rounded off with hints of vanilla and spices.
On the palate, this cuvée delights with its good structure and soft mouthfeel, which is underlined by velvety tannins.
Vinification for the Cecilia Beretta Soraie
This cuvée is vinified from the Merlot, Corvina, Cabernet and Croatina grape varieties. The hand-picked grapes are dried in open wooden crates over a period of one month to achieve a higher concentration of sugar.
After drying, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This wine is then transferred to tonneaux for 5 months and then transferred back to stainless steel tanks for malolactic fermentation.
