More information about Sori Tildin Barbaresco DOP - Gaja
The Sori Tildin Barbaresco from the pen of Gaja from Piedmont shows a dense, ruby red color in the glass. If you tilt the glass slightly, you can see a transition of color towards garnet red at the edges. This Gaja red wine presents the nose with all kinds of blackcurrants, mulberries, blackberries and blueberries. As if that wasn't already impressive, cinnamon, gingerbread spice and cocoa bean are added to the mix.
The Sori Tildin Barbaresco from Gaja is the right wine for all connoisseurs who like as little residual sweetness in their wine as possible. However, it is never barren or brittle, as you would naturally expect from a wine. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense and powerful texture. On the finish, this red wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region finally impresses with good length. Once again, there are hints of blackberry and blueberry. Mineral notes from the clay and limestone-dominated soils are added to the finish.
Vinification of Sori Tildin Barbaresco by Gaja
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Nebbiolo. Only first-class grapes were harvested for this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Gaja. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Piedmont. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into clay and limestone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures.
