On the palate, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. In the finish, this wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine region impresses with considerable length. Once again, hints of banana and pineapple emerge. In the aftertaste, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils add to the complexity.
Vinification of the 708 Chilometri Bianco Dolomiti by Cembrani D.O.C.
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau and Riesling. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines producing the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils. The berries for this Italian white wine are harvested exclusively by hand after optimal ripeness is assured. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the press house. Here, they are carefully sorted and gently crushed. The fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the 708 Chilometri Bianco Dolomiti can harmonize further for several months on the fine lees.
