Vinification of the Donna Luigia Malvasia from Torre Fornello
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Malvasia di Candia grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Emilia-Romagna. Here the vines sink their roots deep into limestone soils. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. There they are sorted and gently crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several months on the fine lees before it is finally bottled.
