More information about Pratobianco - Torre Fornello
The elegant Pratobianco from Torre Fornello flows into the glass with a bright light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of pineapple and elderflower, rounded off by licorice and pepper.
The Torre Fornello Pratobianco presents itself to the wine lover as delightfully dry. This white wine never appears rough or austere, as one might expect from a wine. Balanced and complex, this crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Emilia-Romagna winegrowing region delights with a lovely length. Once again, hints of elderflower and pineapple appear.
Vinification of the Pratobianco from Torre Fornello
The basis for the well-balanced Pratobianco from Emilia-Romagna is grapes from the Malvasia di Candia, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible. There they are sorted and gently crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the Pratobianco can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 18 months.
Food recommendation for the Pratobianco from Torre Fornello
Ideally, enjoy this Italian white wine well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto, spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce, or stir-fried vegetables with fish.
