The elegant Greco di Tufo from Villa Raiano flows into the glass with a bright pale yellow color. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of acacia, lime, orange blossom and Nashi pear, rounded off by oak, cigar box and toasted barrique.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. On the finish, this youthful wine from the Campania wine-growing region finally delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of orange blossom and quince.

Vinification of the Villa Raiano Greco di Tufo

This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Greco Bianco grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Greco di Tufo can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

This white wine from Italy is best enjoyed moderately chilled at 11 - 13°C. It goes perfectly with coconut and lime fish curry, omelette with salmon and fennel or spaghetti with yoghurt and mint pesto.
